In 1991 brothers Roberto Pena, Jr. and Reney (Ray) Pena along with longtime friends Larry McFarland and Martiz Ware decided to pursue their lifelong dream. From a small suburb just outside of Baltimore, MD the group 4PM (originally known as IV Real) was created. Their smooth harmonies and unique accapella style catapulted 4PM from local talent shows to pursuing a recording contract in New York Cityn 1994, after performing at a record release party, an executive from Next Plateau Records approached 4PM.
