gripweed. is an electro-rock band from Italy. Their story begins some time before they decided to name themselves after the character performed by John Lennon in "How I won the War", a movie by Richard Lester. In the shadowy and empty corners of a small village in the Italian far south, the band realized they had to raise their game musically. Comprised of vocalist Cristian Rosa, guitarist Alberto la Riccia and bassist Lucantonio Pignataro, gripweed. made their live debut in 2002.
