Scott Dolph is the translator of multiple Konami video games, most notably from Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series. Kojima named a Marine commandant after Dolph in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In addition, he also provided some voice acting for Metal Gear Solid and Sons of Liberty, but only in the English versions. Alongside being fluent in English and Japanese, he is also Kojima's bodyguard and his interpreter during interviews because Hideo Kojima is not fluent in English.Additionally, Dolph did translation work for Konami's Dance Dance Revolution, whose wildly successful export to the United States from Japan can be attributed, at least in some part, to his suggestions.
