Valentina Monetta (born 1 March 1975, City of San Marino) is a Sammarinese singer known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2012, 2013 and 2014. Valentina has been singing for years and sang in several bands and ensembles, such as Parafunky, Tiberio, Harem-B, 2blackBluesmobile & My Funky Valentine. In 2011 she released her debut album 'Il mio gioco preferito'. Soon after this, Valentina first became involved in the Eurovision Song Contest. Previously, Monetta sent in the song "Se non ci sei tu" for the San Marino national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, but she was not selected by San Marino RTV.
