HammerFall is a Swedish power metal band that has existed for the last couple of decades. They were first formed in 1993 by Oscar Dronjak and were born in Gothenburg.

Since their formation, several members have made the band. The original members were:

* Oscar Dronjak (guitars and backing vocals)
* Jesper Strömblad (drums)
* Niklas Sundin (guitars)
* Johan Larsson (bass)
* Mikael Stanne (lead vocals)

However, since then, there have been 14 different people in total to have represented HammerFall, with Dronjak being the only mainstay of the group. Nonetheless, they appear to have been going from strength to strength as they continue to tour and release new music.

Currently, the band’s members consist of:

* Oscar Dronjak
* Joacim Cans (lead vocals since 1996)
* Fredrik Larsson (bass, 1994-97, 2007-present)
* Pontus Norgren (guitars and backing vocals since 2008)
* David Wallin (drums since 2014)

As recently as 2022, the band had joined Helloween (a huge power metal band from Germany) on the United Forces tour that had initially set out to be across Europe before Latin America and North America dates were added. In addition to their touring, the band also released its 12th studio album titled “Hammer of Dawn” the same year.

What are the five biggest tracks of HammerFall?
Given that the band has had huge success in terms of releasing multiple studio albums, it should come as no surprise to learn that they have a wide collection of tracks forming their portfolio. This can make it difficult to list the top five songs that they have released.

Nonetheless, there are some tracks that stand out for many and are widely considered to be among the very best HammerFall have released. These are among those that fans of the power metal band will often talk about and sometimes even recommend to those who are not aware of the Swedish group’s music.

These tracks are:

* Hearts on Fire (Crimson Thunder)
* At the End of the Rainbow (Legacy of Kings)
* Blood Bound (Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken)
* Natural High (Threshold)
* Stone Cold (Glory to the Brave)

Popularity outside of music
HammerFall have had several top hits throughout their three-decade existence, with many charting high in their respective genres. For instance, Blood Bound and Natural High both placed inside the top 10 in their home country of Sweden.

As a result, their popularity had boomed outside of the music scene. They became a music band to have a collection of merchandise made available based on them. At the same time, they even became a popular theme for a slot game to have been made.

The music industry has always been a big theme for slot developers, with music themed online slot games proving popular with gamers. Play’n GO developed the HammerFall title while providing the iGaming industry with games based on KISS and Helloween, too. NetEnt has also adopted this approach, as it has created games based on the Guns N Roses, Jimi Hendrix, and Motorhead.
