Linkin Park is evaluating the possibility of a reunion tour for 2025, in which a female vocalist would replace the late Chester Bennington. The band's booking agency is accepting offers for this tour, which would include Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Dave Farrell, Billboard reports. The search for a female vocalist emerged as a rumor last month, started by ORGY's Jay Gordon, although he later retracted his statements.

Despite being considered an option, Evanescence's Amy Lee has denied rumors about her possible participation as Linkin Park's vocalist. Since Bennington's passing in 2017, the band has remained inactive, but now, the possibility of a reunion with a female vocalist is gaining traction, particularly with the consideration of participating in major festivals.

Linkin Park's future has been shrouded in speculation, with rumors of comebacks with a new vocalist circulating for some time. However, according to Billboard, this time the rumors seem stronger than ever. Although there is no official confirmation yet, the booking agency's consideration suggests that the possible return is a real possibility.

The idea of moving forward with a female vocalist has led the band to reject the idea of working with a hologram of Bennington. This decision reflects the willingness of the remaining band members to explore new musical directions and keep the essence of Linkin Park alive. Meanwhile, the band has continued to maintain its presence on the music scene with releases such as "Papercuts" and the "QWERTY EP", keeping alive the anticipation of its millions of fans around the world.
