- It's A Miracle Lyrics

Guns that cross the street
You never know who you might meet
Who's in disguise
Ooh as you blow a storm
There's no one there to keep you warm
It's no surprise
There's something in my eyes
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
And dreams are made of emotion
Dance with the counterfeit
The plastic smiles and micro heat
I'll meet you there
Run to the edge of town
Where Hollywood lay its footprints down
Monroe was there
But do you really care
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
And dreams are made of emotion
Guns that cross the street
You never know who you might meet
Who's in disguise
Ooh as you blow a storm
There's no one there to keep you warm
It's no surprise
There's something in my eyes
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
It's a miracle
And dreams are made of emotion
Cry it's a miracle
Cry it's a miracle
Cry it's a miracle
Cry it's a miracle

What is the meaning behind It's A Miracle lyrics?

When we ask ourselves what the song was truly meant to express, the song “ It’s A Miracle” by Culture Club gives a not so pleasant picture of urban life when it portrays its unpredictability and also its danger through the metaphor of ‘guns that cross the street’ which depicts the risks and uncertainties that are present. On the other hand, the song has a bright side of the dream and feeling being miracle makers, even when the world seems to be harsh and cruel. The miracle lyrics primarily bring out the themes of inspiration, empowerment, reflection, hope and joy. Simultaneously, the song underscores the aspect of uncertainty and dangers, superficiality and illusion and miracles along with emotions. There are mentions in the lyrics like 'guns that cross the street' and 'blow a storm' which point out the danger and conflict aspects. Moreover, the term 'counterfeit' and the phrase 'plastic smiles' imply that there is a lot of deception and superficiality around. All these factors together with the tone of the song, indicate the maturity of the subject which might not be appropriate for young children to listen to without the guidance of their parents.

There are a lot of errors in these lyrics, to the point where they make the song sound like a bunch of nonsense. Right off the start, the line is "GIRLS that cross the street", not "GUNS that cross the street". This is a love song, not a song about gang-bangers shooting each other. Further down, the line is "Dance with the KIND OF FEET", NOT "Dance with the counterfeit". What does that mean anyway? I could keep going, but I don't have all day correcting these horrible mistakes. Who writes these lyric interpretations? You should be fired.
