If, time only, stood still for one minute things might be different,
But the wound opened, and let the infection run deep.
It took one man, twenty years to find out what he was doing,
It’s time now, to ask:
How will he ever save them when all this happened so long ago?
He thinks he’s controlling memories but he doesn’t know,
How dangerous it is, he’s losing his mind,
It’s so sad to see, a man left behind, from this.
Can’t be true, it’s crazy to consider but I just can’t help it,
‘cause in his eyes, I can see so many years.
It’s just one man, with memories beyond his life,
It’s time now, to ask:
How will he ever save them when all this happened so long ago?
He thinks he’s controlling memories but he doesn’t know,
How dangerous it is, he’s losing his mind,
It’s so sad to see, a man left behind, from this –
From this life.
The smallest difference can change how you feel,
And all these new memories somehow seem real.
From this – from this life.
So tell me why do I remember so many changes
That never happened now, not in this lifetime?
Not in this life.
(screaming)
Not in this life. In this lifetime.
Not in this life. In this lifetime.
Not in this life
And I may never remember what’s real.
I know things can only get better now.
And I’ve stopped trying so hard to feel,
Like I’m losing my mind now.
Not in this lifetime.
