I’m closing my eyes,
pleasure, delights.
In here it all’s quite bright.
Nothing’s in the way,
conscience is astray.
And to keep it comfortable I can close my eyes.
I know that there’s trouble going on,
that out there’re wars and battles from dusk till dawn,
knees on the floors, hands back bounded.
But to keep it comfortable I close my eyes.
Now I can see the concrete’s begging.
Can’t help making my shoes trampling.
Something odd inside’s about to arise.
To keep it comfortable I close my eyes.
