WORLD OF TROUBLE
© Electric Babylon Music Author: M.M.
Remember the Alamo, don’t have to say I told you so, hostages and
terrorists. idealists and nihilists, dark night of mother earth, don’t
know what your wisdom is worth, children of the only light, divid
themselves in wrong and right, nations rich and nations poor, don’t
know what were fighting for.
Were in a world of trouble we better watch their step, were in a world
of trouble between the right and the left, were in a world of trouble,
but it could end like that!
You think we’d learned our lesson. with all of our second guessing,
they could learn from us and we could learn from them, but we’d
rather forecast the future grim, you make god the scapegoat of your
plan, but god abides in every man, we just fight because we feel a
need, out of habit to protect our greed, nations strong and nations
weak, watch the mighty exploit the meek.
Were in a world of trouble we better watch their step, were in a world
of trouble between the right and the left, were in a world of trouble,
but it could end like that!
Will we be just a part of history, engulfed in a cloud of mystery, sweet
sardonic politicians, deep foreboding intuitions, children stooped in
huger pangs, their skins soaked in acid rains, they used to fight for
food and clothing, now it’s just for fear and loathing, nations poor and
nations rich, you don’t have to kill for that son of a bi***.
Were in a world of trouble we better watch their step, were in a world
of trouble between the right and the left, were in a world of trouble,
but it could end like that!
