Let me tell you a story about a man where I grew up
long time ago
They were a dozen brothers and sisters and worked with
bloody sweato
Six of them were very bright, they would make it
through the day
The other half were pitiful had to find another way
The other half were fools had to work hard with their
hands
And make their living in the woods, working' hard for
their bread
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I knew turned
out to be
But I'm fine and I'm well and I have a good life
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I know turned
out to be
A man with distorted mission from God
I was only fifteen when I worked with him with axe and
saw
We had a big load of timber to carry home through the
snow
But the snow was to much and the horse got stuck it was
30 degrees below
Our man was one of the stronger sort so he managed to
save both horse and load
When we all were safe and sound, he stared and this is
what he told
"If the horse had died out there I'd have killed you
with my hands"
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I knew turned
out to be
But I'm fine and I'm well and I have a good life
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I know turned
out to be
A man with distorted mission from God
The mailman in our town was a self-centred bastard
He was abusive to the women and he made fools of the
men
Complains were heard from door to door but nothing was
ever done
A revelation came to our man while doing his evening
prayer
To clear this world from evil and make the world less
grey
So he went to the mailman and cut his throat and wiped
the blood on his coat
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I knew turned
out to be
But I'm fine and I'm well and I have a good life
Now it seems so unreal to me how someone I know turned
out to be
A man with distorted mission from God
Twas'nt long 'til men in white coats came and took the
man away from home
To a place full of loonies. Where he wouldn't feel
alone
He was locked up like an animal and that's where he
spent his life
