I would agree with FMitri meaning to the song, but even take it to the next level. People are supposed to (IMHO anyway) care for each other, show love or support. I think this song says to the case that even a f-ing rat takes better care of their brothers than most men . Supposedly the most evolved of life forms with all the advantages in the world, and yet we cannabalize each other for sport.
