The Norwegain band ACELSIA, may be considered as melodic hard rock. Sometimes quiet and mellow, sometimes heavy and noisy - the band is recognised by soothing melodies, melancholy moods and Malene's emotional voice.Acelsia started as a solo project in the summer of 2006. Malene wanted to record some of her songs and got Nils and some other friends to help her out in the studio. Happy with the result, Malene decided to take the project further and form a permanent band.Marius and Håkon showed up for auditions and was soon chosen to join the band.
