Kim Kye-hoon (artistic name: Crown J; Hangul: 크라운 제이; born November 12, 1979 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and composer.Crown J made his debut in March, 2006. Having lived in the US, Crown J brings US-style hip-hop to Korean listeners. However, his songs about love, friendship and family are filled with Korean sentiments. The first single off Crown J’s debut album was “V.I.P.,” a song about how a person should work to become ‘a very important person’ on the inside rather than the outside.
