Cuby and the Blizzards (correct name, Cuby + Blizzards) are a Dutch Blues group formed in the early sixties.The group's current(2009) line-up consists of Harry Muskee (Vocals, Harmonica), Erwin Java (Guitar), Herman Deinum (Bass) and Hans La Faille (Drums) and Helmig van der Vegt (Piano, Keys).Cuby and the Blizzards play a mix of Chicago Blues and self penned Blues. Guitarist Eelco Gelling was asked to join John Mayall’s bluesbreakers but refused.
