Erlend Bratland is a chart-topping Norwegian emo pop singer who rose to fame in 2008 as the winner of the television talent show Norske Talenter (i.e. "Norway's Got Talent").Born on October 27th 1991 in Kvinnherad, Norway, he won the second season of Norske Talenter at the young age of 16, and much was made of how his emo fashion sense (e.g. coloured hair, facial piercings, black clothing) contrasted sharply with his fairly conventional musical style.
