Garood Lyrics

Garood is an Iranian alternative rock band from Tehran, Formed in 2018 by lead guitarist ‘Amirali Rezaei’ and lyricist ‘Mehraab Moqadami’. Garood’s current lineup comprises founding members, Pianist 'Mahdi Kaeeni' and Bassist 'Nima Jalali'. The band’s first official track ‘Flight Muscle’ was released on November 2019 and it is considered one of the few alternative rock songs from Iran which has an English lyrics. Later, with the release of their fist album, they changed their music genre to Post Metal and Post Rock.‘Garood’ is short for ‘Garodman’ which means ‘Hymn and Prayer’ in Middle Persian and Zoroastrian language.
