There are at least three bands called Gloss.1) Gloss were a Liverpool-based indie-pop band that released one album in 2001.The group's multi-national line-up included Paul Cavanagh (guitar), Martin Lynch (bass), Paul Maguire (drums), Jonas Theis (keyboards) and Heidrun Anna (vocals). They wrote and recorded songs that are timeless pop - rich in melody and drawn from influences such as The Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, Television, Stereolab, Barry White, Carole King, Blondie, Françoise Hardy, Air and Madonna.The nucleus of the band were Cavanagh and the alluring Heidrun Anna.
