Indexi were a popular rock band from former Yugoslavia, and are considered to be the pioneers of Yugoslav rock. Indexi were formed in 1962 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disbanded in 2001 after the death of Davorin Popović. The most prominent members of Indexi were Davorin Popović, singer known for his illustrious character, charisma and voice both on and off stage, and guitarist Slobodan Bodo KovaÄević who is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential ex-Yugoslav guitar players.
