Jenn Em grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a small town outside of Washington, DC. While growing up and attending school, she was surrounded by music, and from a very young age she knew it would be the most significant piece of her life. She began playing piano at the age of four, wrote her first song at age six, took up violin at seven, and throughout the years managed to sing almost every day since she could talk.
