Signed to a record deal at their first gig in 1994, Kicking Harold found themselves recording a debut album only a few months after their first jam in a dark Los Angeles rehearsal room. Formed "just for fun" by three transplanted friends from Tucson, the band was soon touring the US on the national radio success of popular songs like "Kill You", "Fred's New Dress" & "Down on You". The word spread quickly and their indie album "Ugly & Festering" was scooped up by MCA Records and re-released in 1996 with the band continuing to tour and enjoy airplay coast to coast.
