1. Alonzo Mario Stevenson (born September 3, 1981 in Los Angeles, California), better known by his stage name Novel, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper and producer signed to Capitol Records. Novel has collaborated with artists such as Lauryn Hill, Talib Kweli, Robin Thicke and Alicia Keys, and had plans to release his debut album The Word in 2002, but it was cancelled.
