Stan Wells Lyrics

Stan Wells was born in San Francisco and comes from a musical family. His early influences include The Beatles, John Sebastian, The Who, and the Dead. The first record Stan ever bought was Last Kiss by J. Frank Wilson in the 1960's. His first rock concert was the Chambers Brothers at the Fillmore West in SF. Stan set out after college to become a songwriter but his other endeavors paid the bills. He worked for several years in Sausalito designing and creating custom lighting. He once worked on lamps for Steve Miller and David Crosby. During those years (1970's) he often hung out with Craig Chaquico who played with the Jefferson Starship at the time.
